SUP Yoga is all about adding a touch of nature, adventure, and fun to a regular yoga practice. Whether you’re a complete beginner to Yoga&SUP, or already rocking some moves, this class will shift your perspective on water sports and beach time! In this 75 minute class, you will learn how to move on the board with confidence while building heat in your muscles. The lesson will start with an introduction on the beach, where you will learn some basic principles of standing and balancing on the board. Afterward, we head to the water, where you will shortly warm up with some paddling. The practice starts with breathing exercises while absorbing the smells, sounds, and a unique view of the sea around us (with the Brijuni Islands straight in front of us!). The physical practice will help you develop a sense of balance, make you more grounded and stable and increase your flexibility. To conclude the practice, you will get some time to relax on the board and simply float with your hands and feet touching the water, feeling the flow of the sea around you in your Shavasana. During the morning class, you will practice dynamic physical exercises with more challenging postures, some of which will flip you around and make you laugh! In the evening class, you will engage with a more calming practice focused on relaxation, stability, ease, grounding&positive thoughts while the sun is setting!
